Vampirism
*Vampirism* is an important, but often misunderstood, layer of the
Asetian nature. The Asetians are primordial vampires, the first-born of
the ancient immortal kin. They trace their roots back to Ancient Egypt,
a time of mysteries and magick, where they were given Life out of the
essence of Aset, in an act of creation known as the "Dark Kiss" - the
Asetian initiation.
Being a vampire is a definitive condition of the soul. It is marked by a
non-human spirit within a human body. An immortal soul in a mortal
shell. A vampire is also linked to the draining of vital force, known as
"Ka" in Ancient Egyptian, but the need for energy alone is not enough to
describe a real vampire. The actions and techniques behind vampirism are
not exclusive to vampires, given that many other beings can manipulate
energy and also have the ability to drain the life force of others. This
does not qualify them as vampires, when they are only humans practicing
the arts of vampirism.
There are many situations that may lead someone into acts of vampirism,
from circumstances as simple and mundane as stress and depression, to
more subtle conditions like what is described as sympathetic vampirism.
In this case, a human may start to metaphysically impersonate a vampire
after being drained for an extended period of time, or by the means of
deep feeding. This does not turn the individual into an actual vampire,
but just reflects a human acting vampirically.
Another common mistake, and often passed along as truth by the less
knowledgeable of the mysteries within the vampire gnosis, is that the
nature of the vampire can be explained by damaged "chakras", where this
inner defect was caused to their subtle systems long ago. Those
situations of wounded souls and metaphysical handicaps are true, but
they do not describe real vampires. They represent mere humans with a
damaged soul.
Vampires are beings of oneness and completeness. Beings of purity and
evolution. They should not be misunderstood as humans with a damaged
Self or a poorly working chakra - known as "Shen" in the Asetian culture.

techniques that students from the new-age traditions acclaim to possess.
While vampires are indeed predatory beings that can respond with damage
and even lethal power if provoked, it is not entirely true that the
majority of the community does attack and harm people for no

In any serious study of vampirism, the subject of "feeding" is always a
relevant field, being also a prevalent misunderstanding in the nature of
the vampire. There is a tendency among the less aware to describe the
existence of several types of vampires according to their feeding
techniques. Labeled under a myriad of names, the most widespread
concepts are the "psychic vampire", that feeds of vital force or prana;
the "sanguinarian", that feeds of fresh blood; and more recently the
"hybrid", a new age concept to describe vampires that feed from energy
and blood. Reality is, when it comes to actual vampires, there is no
such thing, as described by those three types.
A real vampire is both, a powerful psychic and a potential blood
drinker; being able to drain vital energy by diverse means, like
physical contact, the blood of humans, sexual interaction or simply by
stealth metaphysical abilities, among many others. The preferred methods
of feeding are connected with the energy metabolism of the vampire and
also rely in matters of personal taste and choice. What a real vampire
truly craves at his core is "Ka", the Essence of Life, whether released
by an intense sexual orgasm, from the blood dripping off a donors' vein
or simply by the touch of the flesh.

Sanskrit folklore, vampire-like demons called Lilu are known from the
mysteries of Babylonia, and even before, the bloodsucking Akhkharu were
seen in the Sumerian mythology. In fact one of these female demons,
named Lilitu, was later adopted by the Jewish demonology as Lilith,
being an archtype still currently used in some ritualistic traditions
of the Left Hand Path. But most of the well-known lore of the vampire
comes from the Romanian and Slavic tales, the so-called Strigoi,
Nosferatu and Varcolaci, among others.
However, the true vampire, as a real being and not the concept found
around the word and in history as pure myth created by man, has its
roots on Ancient Egypt. These dark beings have been known under many
different names over the centuries, being the name vampire a more recent

The term "vampire" was created by mortals to describe an ancient being
that they could not comprehend. For ages long past humans have defined
the Asetians simply as vampires, the predators of mankind... However
